ClassFlipbooks Beautiful books for every reader in your class
Write it yourself, let AI write it, or have students fill it in. Add pictures, narration, and interactive pages. Share with your class in minutes — or print a PDF. AI guidance is built in, so you're never stuck.
Meet Paige — your built-in bookmaking guide
Paige is built into ClassFlipbooks from start to finish. She's in the wizard, the editor, your flipbooks page, and your classes page — answering questions about wherever you currently are. If you're not sure how something works or where to find a setting, just ask her.
Four ways to begin. You choose.
Pick the one that fits the book you need. You can change anything — text, images, layout, level — later in the editor.
AI writes it
Answer a few questions about grade, topic, length, and reading level — PM, DRA, F&P, Lexile, CEFR, or your own description. The AI writes the book in any language you choose.
You write it
Choose how many pages of text, then write each page yourself in the editor. Add your own photos, generate AI illustrations, or leave a spot for a student to add an image.
Students write it
Build a book with pages students fill in themselves — handwriting lines, typing boxes, drawing space, audio recording, or photo uploads. Add an optional prompt on each page.
Upload a PDF
Have a book you already made in another tool? Upload the PDF and each page becomes a flipbook page. Add narration, and students can zoom in on small text.
One book, rewritten for every reader
You can put a lot of work into a book — choosing illustrations, setting up the layout, recording audio. When you need the same book at a different reading level or in another language, you don't have to rebuild it.
Copy the book, open the copy, and use Rewrite the whole book. The text is rewritten at the level or in the language you choose; your images, audio, layout, and writing lines stay exactly where you put them. The original is left untouched.
Reading levels can be PM, DRA, F&P, Lexile, CEFR, or your own description. Language rewrites are written directly in the target language — not translated literally — so the result reads naturally.
The Workflow
Built for real classrooms
Everything you need to create, share, and manage flipbooks — no extra tools or subscriptions required.
Illustrations, your way
Describe a picture and the AI generates it. Upload your own photos. Or leave a blank spot for a student to draw or upload an image. Change any illustration at any time in the editor.
Narration, your way
Use a natural AI voice in the book's language, record your own voice page by page, or upload audio you already have. Students can also record themselves reading aloud. Or leave it silent — entirely your call.
Glossary and comprehension questions
Add an AI-generated glossary of key terms or a set of comprehension questions to the back of any book. Both can be edited and print cleanly for worktext use.
Interactive student pages
Pages can include handwriting lines, typing boxes, drawing space, audio recording, or photo uploads. Each student's work is saved to their own copy. Add an optional prompt above the input area.
Print as a PDF
Every finished flipbook can be exported and printed as a PDF. Choose to print in-place (single pages) or as a spread — clean layouts designed to print well from the start.
Undo, restore, and autosave
Undo steps back major editor actions. A Restore list brings back pages you deleted. Your work saves automatically as you go, so nothing is lost between sessions.
Sharing books with your class
Create a class, add your students, and assign books in seconds. Students log in with a class code, pick their name, and see only the books you assigned to them.
My Classes
Set up your roster, assign books, and manage everything from one page.
Create a class and add students by name. Each class gets a short access code.
Optional 4-digit student PIN for older grades or shared devices.

Progress & Student Work
Track completion and review what each student produced — all in the same place.
Students tap "I finished this!" when done. You see the date and status for every student.
Summary organized by student or by book, with progress bars.
Print a completion report for the whole class or a single student — handy for IEPs and parent meetings.
Open any book as a specific student to review their writing, drawing, or recordings.
Student work saves automatically as they work through the book.
