What started as a small platform for sharing FSL and ESL eBooks has grown into a full ecosystem of tools for teachers and school leaders — ESBPlanners, AI Labs, Phonics Playground, the Education Blog, a podcast, and consulting services.

Get to know us
A small, dedicated team with deep roots in education, technology, and school management — working together to bring meaningful tools to educators worldwide.
Christina holds a B.Ed in French Immersion Education from the University of Alberta and brings over 20 years of experience teaching in Canadian and international schools. She designed her first educational framework as a language coordinator in Jakarta, which became the foundation for Empowering the Educator Within and ESBPlanners. She now lives in Osoyoos, B.C., where she writes, consults, and keeps building the next best thing for educators.
Janet holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Alberta and brings years of management and volunteer experience to the team. She's passionate about making education meaningful for students from all backgrounds, and uses her expertise to help bring our work to schools around the world. Janet's role is to listen — to understand what a school needs before any solution is proposed.
Jashan is a UBC-trained software engineer and founder of Khela Tech, a development and marketing studio based in the Okanagan. With 6+ years building products across industries, he specializes in turning ideas into clean, scalable tools. He joined the team after recognizing the gap in purpose-built planning tools for educators — and helped architect ESBPlanners from the ground up. If it's on the screen, Jashan built it.
